The car that made history the Maybach version of the S-Class, 18 cm longer than the standard version (length, width and height are respectively 547 cm, 192 cm and 151 cm), with a passenger compartment where, if anything, ample decorative elements make their debut: precious wood surround the back of the driver and passenger seat, while in the First Class rear compartment an equally refined decorative element in wood, the space between the two passengers. Top-of-the-line active noise compensation for super-quiet interiors: as with noise-canceling headphones, this system reduces unwanted low-frequency sounds, using phase-opposition sound waves reproduced by the Burmester Surround Sound System subwoofers High End 4D.
The attention to detail is obsessive, especially for rear passengers, for whom both space and comfort functions grow. Standard executive armchairs with the second row that can be transformed at will into a mobile office, or into a small five-star hotel room. Suffice it to say that in the seats there are the massage function of the calf support as well as the heating for the neck and shoulders. For this seventh generation, up to five screens are available, including those for those who sit in the back: as standard there is a 12.8-inch OLED that acts as a control unit for the infotainment. The Maybach S-Class will arrive in the summer of 2021, with a price tag of around 200,000 euros, without counting the infinite customizations.
