The CSA rarely inflicts such heavy fines. The Superior council of audio-visual sanctioned, Thursday, March 18, CNews, the group’s news channel Canal +, a fine of 200,000 euros for “incitement to hatred” and “violence” after remarks made in September by its star polemicist, Eric Zemmour, on unaccompanied minor migrants.

On September 29, during a debate on the program “Face à l’Info” devoted to the issue of unaccompanied minors after the attack in front of the ex-locals of Charlie Hebdo, Eric Zemmour said: “They have nothing to do here, they are thieves, they are murderers, they are rapists, that’s all they are, they must be sent back and they must not even come.”
