The Pierre Fabre company was the victim of a cyberattack on the night of Tuesday March 30 to Wednesday March 31, according to information from France Bleu Occitanie.
All production of the pharmaceutical and cosmetics group based in Castres (Tarn) is at a standstill, France Bleu Occitanie has learned from a union source. A good part of the employees returned home. The company employs around 10,000 people worldwide, including 4,000 in Occitania (2,600 in the Tarn).
For its part, management told Agence France Presse that only certain production sites were shut down. “Part of the production activities have been stopped”, But “the distribution of the products is not however interrupted”, according to her.
The technical teams are mobilized to restore production and secure data for the group, the third largest French laboratory.
