Bruce Rennie owns The Shore in Penzance where he is the sole chef, receptionist and even waiter at times.

He has worked in renowned kitchens, from Michelin-starred Shanks in Northern Ireland to Martin Wishart in Edinburgh, and helped open Martin Wishart Cook School before opening his own restaurant in 2015 – where the menu is rich in local fish and vegetables.

“I’ve always been obsessed with ultra fresh seafood with dewy eyes,” he says of the fare to Penzance. “Many places offer products of exceptional quality.”
