Met Office predicts 14 hours of rain will hit Somerset tomorrow Bath City News

The long dry spell of clear skies and bright sunshine will come to an abrupt end from Wednesday when 14 hours of rain is expected to hit Somerset.

Our county has enjoyed warm weather over the past week, with high temperatures and lots of sunshine.

But forecasters predict that tomorrow will see the mercury dip to around 10 degrees Celsius and rain is expected for most of the day.

According to the hour by hour distribution of the authority, the showers will strike from 10 am to midnight.

According to a Met Office forecast for Somerset: “A cloudier day than recent times, with a lot of showers. Showers will be slow and could be heavy at times.

“Feeling of freshness compared to the last days. Maximum temperature 14 degrees Celsius.”

And it doesn’t look great for the long break this weekend. Temperatures will hover around 12 degrees Celsius for most of the holidays, with downpours expected throughout.
