THREE men brandished a baseball bat and knife in a terrifying heist.
The gang raided a property in Bevendean Crescent, Brighton, at 9:20 p.m. Tuesday, April 27.
Intruders broke into the house with guns and stole electrical items, including phones and laptops, and also took away expensive clothes.
The suspects were black or mixed race men wearing surgical gloves and face masks.
Two wore high visibility jackets.
Police said the trio knocked on the door first, then forcibly entered when the door opened.
They made threats with the baseball bat and knife, but no one was hurt.
Sussex Police have called on all witnesses in the area to come forward.
The force said: “We are investigating a report of an aggravated burglary at an address in Bevendean Crescent, Brighton at around 9:20 pm on April 27.
“During the incident, it was reported that three men knocked on the door and then forcibly entered the property, threatening residents with a baseball bat and knife.
“The intruders searched the address before taking a number of electrical devices, including phones and laptops, as well as expensive clothing.
“The suspects then left the property and fled on foot heading north. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
“The three men, all described as black or mixed race, would wear surgical gloves and masks. Two of them wore high visibility orange jackets.
Anyone with information or who may have been in the area at the time and witnessed someone acting suspiciously is urged to report it to Sussex Police online or call 101, citing 1405 of 04/27.
