Man arrested after cars collided at Eastbourne roundabout Brighton News

An MAN was stopped after two cars collided on a busy roundabout.

Police were called to a dangerous driving report involving a silver Mercedes Coupé and a silver Vauxhall Corsa in Eastbourne around 11 a.m. on Sunday 25 April.

The Corsa was traveling on Dittons Road, before turning right at the roundabout onto Adur Drive. The Mercedes had approached the roundabout from Adur Drive.

It was reported that the vehicles were involved in a roundabout collision before they both drove along Friday Street, Langley Rise, Marsden Road and then Ashgate Road.

The Corsa then continued to return to Marsden Road before heading along Etchingham Road and Priory Road.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle dangerously and has been released on bail as investigations continue.

A Sussex Police spokesperson said: ‘Officers investigating the case are keen to speak to anyone who has seen a vehicle driving in the area or who has captured relevant footage from the dash cam.

“Anyone with information is urged to contact the police online or by calling 101 quoting serial number 510 from 04/25.”
