Man charged with murder after being fatally stabbed in Brent Cross UK News

A man has been charged with murder with a fatal stabbing at Brent Cross Shopping Center.

Bhoniefas Rexson, 18 from Buck Lane in Kingsbury, has been charged with murder and possession of a sharp or bladed article in a public place.

Metropolitan Police officers were called to the Brent Cross Shopping Center at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday following reports of a group of men fighting.

The force said Gedeon Ngwendema, 21, was the victim found stabbed at the scene, before dying soon after, despite the efforts of officers, members of the public and ambulance personnel.

A post-mortem examination was carried out at the Northwick Park morgue on Wednesday and found the cause of death to be a single stab wound.

Rexson was arrested on Tuesday evening (May 4) and two men who were also arrested in connection with Gedeon’s murder were released on bail to return to a north London police station on a date in early June.

This includes a man, 20, from Harrow, who was arrested for murder, and a 22-year-old man who was arrested for murder and brawl.

A crime scene was in place in the mall following the incident and police warned the public to expect an increased presence of officers in the area.
