Little Mix: Jesy Nelson shows support for former band comrades after historic British victory | Ents & Arts News

Jesy Nelson has shown his support for his former bandmates Little Mix after their historic victory at the Brit Awards.

The singer posted on Instagram after the trio became the first girl group to win the Best Group Award at the british prices Tuesday evening.

Nelson gave her first interview after leaving the group at Cosmopolitan earlier this month, but said she didn’t want to talk about her relationship with the Small mix girls – Perrie edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall – leaving some fans concerned about their friendship.

But on stage at the Brits, the trio thanked Nelson in their acceptance speech and then showed their support, sharing a photo of the stars holding their awards.

She captioned the image with heart and applause emojis.

Nelson left Little Mix “with a heavy heart” in December., claiming that being part of such a prestigious girl group had taken a toll on her mental health, after previously revealing in a 2019 documentary that she attempted suicide due to social media abuse.

Edwards, Pinnock and Thirlwall wished him luck after his announcement and said they supported his decision.

In her Cosmopolitan interview, Nelson said she could no longer bear to be compared to her band mates and reached “breaking point” after returning from lockdown to shoot a music video.

Little Mix formed on The X Factor in 2011 and became the first group to win the show.

Over the next 10 years, they became one of the UK’s most successful girl groups, selling millions of records across the world.
