Love it or hate it, we all love broadcaster Alan Partridge, who is currently back on our TV screens in This Time with Alan Partridge on BBC One.
And now, in a country torn by discord and disease, Alan has announced that he is touring the country with a message of hope.
Strategem with Alan Partridge promises to inform, educate, and entertain in roughly equal measure.
His publicity material reads, “Wearing a headset preferred by TED speakers, street vendors, TV evangelists, choir singers and carnival barkers, Alan combines all of these roles and more.
“It’s a manifesto for how we can move forward, a roadmap for a better future, an ABC for the way forward.
“Conceived, written, choreographed, performed and funded by Alan Partridge, Stratagem sees Alan not only tread the boards, but beat them, atop stages graced by luminaries such as Michael Ball, Jack Whitehall and Welsh rockers the Stereophonics.
“So join Alan, live on stage – although clients are advised not to join Alan live on stage – as he brings Stratagem to a select town or city of good size near you.”
The show is produced by Phil McIntyre Live Ltd and Baby Cow Productions and is written by Steve Coogan, Neil Gibbons and Rob Gibbons.
