Theft of Tesco Express vending machine in Mutton Lane, Potters Bar UK News

Police are asking the public for help in locating a man following a robbery from an ATM in Potters Bar.

Officers released a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify to respond to their inquiries after money was taken from the machine outside Tesco Express.

After the theft just after 5pm on Wednesday April 21, a police spokeswoman said today: “A man used the cash machine outside Tesco Express at Orchard Parade, Mutton Lane, Potters Bar.

“When he completed his transaction he forgot to take his money, totaling £ 110 with him, leaving it in the ATM machine.

“The next person to use the machine took the money and left the area.”

Potters Bar PCSO Chris Ramdeen added, “We would like to identify the man in this photo as we believe he was in the area at the time and may have some information that can aid our investigations.

“If you recognize or recognize him, please contact me by sending an email to Christopher.ramdeen@Herts.pnn.police.uk, citing crime reference 41/29587/21.”
