BrewDog: Popular Brewery Confirms Bath’s Official Opening Date Bath City News

BrewDog has announced its grand opening in Bath.

As recently as yesterday, photos showed that a renovation had started at a facility on St Lawrence Street, just inside Southgate Shopping Center where Absurd Bird was located.

Now BrewDog has confirmed when it will open.

A spokesperson said: “I can confirm that BrewDog opens on Wednesday July 23.

“BrewDog is coming to Bath with a brand new tap room.

The bar will be equipped with 28 taps serving the best beer from BrewDog and other guest breweries, as well as a mouthwatering menu of monster burgers, tangy buffalo wings, salads and brunch.

“All vegetarians or vegans can also raise a drink, as 50% of the menu will also be plant-based.”

Last month, the company published a notice in Bath Live’s journal, The Bath Chronicle, showing that a request for alcohol service had been submitted to the Bath and North East Somerset Council.

The notice read: “To allow the sale of alcohol between 10 a.m. and midnight Sunday to Thursday and 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and to provide late-night refreshments between 11 p.m. and midnight Sunday to Thursday and between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m. Friday and Saturdays. “

On its website, BrewDog confirms that the Bath store is “coming soon”.

The brewing company, founded in 2007, has been looking for a suitable place to open since 2019.

BrewDog previously offered a search commission to anyone who could identify a suitable location to open a bar in the city.

However, that decision appeared uncertain after the company decided to withdraw its application a month later, in November 2019.

Last year, the founder of the company confirmed that Bath was one of 20 sites currently “in various stages of construction” in the world.
