Mr. Carter added that national lottery players are making a “huge difference” for good causes across the country.
On average, around £ 30million is collected each week and over £ 1billion has been distributed so far to help tackle the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
In order to win the jackpot, players will need to have found all five numbers plus two lucky numbers.
The Friday winning numbers are: 7, 20, 36, 40, 46. And the star numbers are 2 and 4.
The odds of winning the top prize are approximately one in 140,000,000.
To win the second prize, over £ 130,500, the odds are almost one in seven million.
