General manager Adam Chamberlain, 43, draped more than 1,000 feet of flags over the Big Tree pub in Sheffield, in anticipation of the football extravagance.
The owner of the football loving pub claims to have the ‘best decorated pub’ in the UK after creating an incredible display with 500 flags on the eve of Euro 2020.
The football fanatic has spent 36 hours painstakingly pinning the flags of all the nations that have qualified for the European Championships this summer.
Patriotic punters will be greeted by two huge 10-foot “Come on England” inflatable mascots and around 2,000 feet of buntings and flags.
The decorations were a big hit with the people of Woodseats, but they weren’t the only ones who liked it.
A short TikTok of the decorations, accompanied by the iconic song “Three Lions”, has gone viral with over 400,000 views.
Adam has said he is “buzzing” for this year’s tournament and feels like they are one of the best English teams he has seen in his life.
The Greene King pub has six 55-inch TVs inside, as well as three 50-inch TVs in the beer garden for fan enjoyment.
Adam said: “I would like to think this is the best decorated pub in the UK.
“We thought we wanted to do something special for the Euro because it’s been a pretty tough year and we’re all buzzing about it.
“We wanted to cheer up and get everyone excited and think – go big or go home.
“We spent about 36 hours pinning the flags, which was quite an effort, but it’s definitely worth watching now.
“We are in full swing right now, the weather has been incredible and I think they are the best England team of my life.
“I don’t want to come forward, but it’s going home. “
