Former Premier League and England footballer Bobby Zamora turned the years back by scoring a wonderful goal when he was invited for a friend’s team at Colchester.
Ex-Brighton and Hove Albion, Tottenham Hotspur, Queens Park Rangers and the Fulham forward played in the seven-a-side game at PlayFootball, Sheepen Road.
He scored with unstoppable long-distance effort and the strike, which stunned his teammates, opponents and spectators, was caught on camera.
It has since been picked up by national media and has gone viral.
Jakob Kelly filmed the goal and said, “As you can see from my voice on the clip, I couldn’t control or channel my emotions.
“It was just amazing and everyone was amazed.
“I am a huge sports fan with a great passion for football and I support one of Bobby’s former clubs, West Ham.
“It was all like a dream come true. It was phenomenal.”

Jakob, 21, was due to miss the game due to work but rushed off when he heard about Zamora’s appearance.
“I’m so glad I did it, especially after seeing and filming this goal,” said the sports coach, who works for Essex Professional Coaching and conducts sessions at Colchester schools.
“I play for a team called The Tips and Bobby was the guest of our opponents, FC Cooperativa.

Jakob, a former student of Millfields Primary School, Wivenhoe, and Colne Community School and College, Brightlingsea, is the first team captain of Wivenhoe Cricket Club.
