Piers Morgan attacks Matt Hancock over ‘business’ scandal Brighton News

PIERS Morgan slammed Matt Hancock after business allegations surfaced on The Sun.

The Health Secretary is in the news today in footage that appears to show him kissing his closest government assistant, Gina Coladangelo.

Now Piers Morgan, known for his harsh criticism of government officials throughout the pandemic during his stint on Good Morning Britain, has had his say.

Piers tweeted a photo of the front page to his 7.9 million subscribers and said: “At the time, he was ordering Britons not to kiss anyone from other households…”

The Sun posted footage that appeared to show the Health Secretary in a romantic embrace with Gina Coladangelo.

The footage appears to have been captured via CCTV outside the office of the groom, father of three, just after 3 p.m. on May 6.

A mother of three, Ms. Coladangelo is Director of Communications at Oliver Bonas, the fashion and lifestyle store founded by her husband Oliver Tress.

She is also a director and majority shareholder of the lobbying firm Luther Pendragon, which offers her clients a “deep understanding of the workings of government”.

Ms Coladangelo was appointed last September, her appointment drew criticism as there was a public record of the appointment, which was expected to earn her at least £ 15,000 from taxpayers’ money, potentially increasing by £ 5,000 additional.

A whistleblower told The Sun, “They’ve tried to keep it a secret, but everyone knows what’s going on inside a building like this.

“I’m just amazed that he was so brazen about it while he was Secretary of State.

“It also shocked people because it put her in such an important and publicly funded role and that’s what they do during office hours when everyone is working hard.”

Last night a friend of the Health Secretary said: “He has no comments on personal matters. No rule was broken.
