Cell phone footage has emerged of Professor Chris Whitty, England’s chief medical officer, being manhandled by two men on the street.

Professor Whitty manages to take a few steps back, but the men hold him back again as he crosses a road.
Eventually, a voice – thought to be that of a passer-by – can be heard telling the men to “leave this gentleman alone”.
It is not known when or where the incident took place, but Sky News has asked Downing Street for a response to the video.
This is the second time this year that Professor Whitty has been harassed on camera.
