Euro 2020: English fans traveling to Rome for quarter-final match against Ukraine will not be allowed in stadium, Italian embassy warns | UK News

England fans traveling to Italy to watch the Euro 2020 quarter-final match between the team and Ukraine have been told that they will not be allowed to enter the stadium.

A statement from the Italian Embassy said that under the current restrictions on coronaviruses in the country, ‘anyone who has been in the UK in the previous 14 days, regardless of nationality or residence, will not be not allowed in the stadium, even if she has a ticket “.

He continued: “Only those who can prove that they arrived in Italy at least six days before, observed five days of quarantine and passed a post-quarantine COVID-19 test with a negative result will be allowed to enter the Stadio Olimpico.

“Being exempt from quarantine in Italy for any reason, will not result in an authorization to enter the stadium. For example, travelers who pass through Italy for less than 36 hours or who visit briefly for professional reasons are not required to self-quarantine, but they will not be allowed to enter the stadium.

“Anyone who does not respect the quarantine will be punished according to the law.

“UK-based fans should therefore not travel to Italy to watch Saturday’s game at Stadio Olimpico in Rome.”
