Oliver Ways, 28, from Mitcham, south London, said: “This time it’s coming home, the momentum is with us, I don’t care what anyone says.”
He added: “I can’t believe I’m saying this but England are in the final!”
Prince William was in the crowd to witness the victory at Wembley and congratulated the team after the final whistle.
A message on the Duke’s official Twitter account read: “What a game, what a result! A huge team effort @England.
“The whole country will be behind you on Sunday #ItsComingHome.”
