Aldi introduces mouth-watering 100% British lamb Tikka Masala burgers to its weekly fresh meat offerings.
The company says the new line of supermarket burgers is a first of its kind in the UK.
The burgers come in a two-pack for £ 2.69 and will be available in stores nationwide from Thursday 15 July.
Perfect for the barbecue, these first supermarket lamb burgers were launched after it was revealed that Tikka Masala is the curry of choice for more than a third (38%) of Britons, placing it firmly as the country favorite!
Seasoned with traditional aromatic tandoor spices, the succulent meat is full of flavor to delight customers.

The supermarket chain even put together an ingredient list so shoppers can enjoy the burgers in the best possible way.
The German retailer recommends pairing the lamb burgers Tikka Masala with specially selected brioche burger buns (£ 0.95, 200g) and adding the sweet Bilash mango chutney, available for £ 1.09.
The supermarket said the addition of Bilash Plain Poppadums (£ 0.79, 64g) and Aldi’s Indian Let’s Party Snack Selection (£ 2.49, 504g) would help create the feast of ultimate Indian inspiration the whole family can enjoy – without breaking the bank.
Although the supermarket chain has warned, customers will need to be quick as the burgers are only available for a limited time.
Available in store, online, via Deliveroo and Click and Collect via the Aldi website.
