The air ambulance landed in a park in Worthing in response to an incident.
Photos taken from Broadwater Green show an Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex helicopter responding to the emergency this afternoon.
Emergency services, including teams from the South East Coast ambulance service, were also on the scene.
Members of the public, including players from the Broadwater Cricket Club, were also caught watching.
The Kent Surrey Sussex Air Ambulance and the South East Coast Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
