Pop-up clinics will offer coronavirus injections this weekend as part of a major campaign to get more people vaccinated, so those who soak up the sun while shopping or visiting the park can get one when of their travels.
Some clothing stores, sports venues and parks will host vaccination centers as part of an effort to get as many Britons vaccinated as possible before restrictions in England are lifted on Monday.
NHS England said Primark shoppers in the Broadmead shopping center in Bristol and at the Trinity shopping center in Leeds may receive their first dose from a COVID-19[female[feminine vaccine.
In the midst of what has been described as a mini heat wave this weekend, sun worshipers who take advantage of the warm weather can also take a jab at Greenwich Park in London and Liverpool‘s Sefton Park.
Elsewhere, a clinic run by a general practitioner has dubbed the “vaccine caddies” at the British Open golf championship in Sandwich, Kent, will offer a dose to eligible golfers, caddies, staff and the 30,000 spectators expected daily.
And NHS staff, volunteers and the public will be able to take a jab at the Oval Cricket Ground.
It comes after members of the public on Friday night enjoyed a DJ waiting for their shot at the Tate Modern art gallery on Bankside in London.
Urging people to come forward, NHS England Primary Care Medical Director Dr Nikki Kanani said: ‘You can walk into Primark, soak up the sun in the park and explore Tate-style art, all while you protecting and protecting your loved ones by getting vaccinated this weekend.
“From street shops to mosques and athletic fields, our amazing staff and wonderful volunteers are doing all they can to make sure it’s easier than ever for people, especially young adults, to protect themselves. . “
