Katie Hopkins will be deported from Australia after her “appalling” behavior while being quarantined in a hotel.
The far-right commentator had traveled down to appear on Big Brother VIP and sparked controversy by bragging about flouting the country’s regulations.

Hopkins said on an Instagram Live video that she is deliberately disobeying quarantine measures by mocking the guards and opening her door without a mask.
The 46-year-old also joked that she planned to scare staff by confronting them naked.
Home Secretary Karen Andrews told ABC: “It is appalling that this person behaved the way he did and is going to leave.
“We’ll get her out of the country as soon as we can sort it out.
“The fact that she bragged about violating quarantine was just appalling – it was a slap in the face for all those Australians who are currently on lockdown and it is simply unacceptable behavior.”
Seven, the TV station that broadcasts Big Brother VIP, confirmed on Sunday that Hopkins would no longer appear on the show.
Those arriving in Australia must be quarantined for two weeks at a government-mandated hotel and are not allowed to open their doors for 30 seconds after meals have been delivered. A face mask should also be worn when a door is open.
Hopkins’ comments have sparked outrage as the country grapples with a coronavirus wave that saw Sydney and Melbourne put back into lockdown.
His arrival in itself had also drawn criticism. In recent days, the country’s government has halved the number of Australian citizens and permanent residents who can return home to 3,000 per week.
