Prince Harry will publish a memoir that promises to be an “accurate and entirely true” account of his life, it has been announced.
The book will cover his life in the public eye from childhood to the present day, including his time in the military, marriage and fatherhood.
The Duke of Sussex has said his memoir, which will be published by Penguin Random House, will be written “not like the prince” he was, but like the man he “became”.

He said, “I am writing this not as a prince that I was born, but as a man that I have become.
“I have worn many hats over the years, literally and figuratively, and I hope that by telling my story – the ups and downs, the mistakes, the lessons learned – I can help show that little no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.
“I am deeply grateful that I have had the opportunity to share what I have learned in my life so far and look forward to people reading a first hand account of my life that is accurate and entirely truthful. ”
The book is slated for release in late 2022 and will be published in print and digital format in the United States by Random House and in Canada by Random House Canada.
Prince Harry will donate the proceeds to charity, it has been said.
Markus Dohle, CEO of Penguin Random House, said: “All of us at Penguin Random House are delighted to publish Prince Harry’s literary memoir and have him join the world-renowned leaders, icons and agents of change that we have had the privilege of publishing over the years.
“Prince Harry put to good use his extraordinary life experience as a prince, soldier and savvy advocate for social issues, asserting himself as a world leader recognized for his courage and open-mindedness.
“It is for this reason that we are delighted to publish her honest and touching story.”
