The atmosphere was great, it was great to see people having fun again.

I have never seen the place so busy. When I arrived there were people lining up around the corner and more taxis could be seen coming out.

People have waited a whole year for now and it has certainly delivered. From the queue outside to the entrance to the hall, people were smiling and having fun.

At first I was nervous about visiting and being with others, but felt safe despite the lack of social distancing or wearing a mask.

Obviously Covid-19 is still a concern but it’s time for people to have fun.

We have been locked up for so long and made many sacrifices; we all need to regain that little bit of freedom in our lives. This is a very important step for me.
