A body was found while searching for a man from Newcastle who had bathed in the Lake District.
Cumbria Police have confirmed that a body was found at Brothers Water in the Hartsop Valley area of the Lake District, during the search for a man from Newcastle.
Officers were called at 6:55 p.m. on Tuesday by the North West Ambulance Service in the area after a man in his 30s from Newcastle entered the water to bathe.

Cumbria Fire and Rescue, Mountain Rescue, Coast Guard and Northwestern Police Underwater Search Team assisted in the search for the man, who has yet to be named.
The body was found around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, following a multi-agency search.
Formal identification has yet to take place, police confirmed.
