Morrisons announced a heartwarming gesture to help parents cope with feeding their children during the summer school vacation.

As schools now separate across the country, Morrisons is helping busy parents by allowing children to eat for free in its cafes all day, every day during the summer vacation.

With the purchase of each adult meal over £ 4.50, customers can also get an absolutely free children’s meal.

Adult options include a full English breakfast (vegetarian and vegan options available), delicious salads, and coffee classics like fish and chips, lasagna, and chicken tikka masala, with options for kids ranging from beans grilled with chicken nuggets and fries and everything including a piece of fruit and a drink.

The deal is now available in all Morrisons cafes nationwide and will run throughout the summer vacation to help parents get more value for money over breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Salads, fish & chips, pies, burgers and pizzas are all available for the adult meal with macaroni and cheese, fish goujons, sandwich boxes and more available on the kids’ menu. Each children’s meal also includes a piece of fruit and a drink.

Ai Lyons, Coffee Shop Manager at Morrisons, said: “We know that feeding the whole family over the summer vacation can quickly add up and so we are thrilled to offer our Kids Eat Free All Day offer.

“We recently introduced a whole new menu and invested heavily in coronavirus security measures such as screens and our contactless ‘Order & Pay’ app.

“This means that whether you head to your local Morrison for groceries or miss a day, you’ll have a safe and cost-effective option when thinking about ways to feed the kids. ”

Kids Eat Free All Day is currently live and will run until September 5. Offer only applies to the purchase of an adult meal worth £ 4.50 or more.
