A23 road outside Pyecombe closed following an incident Brighton News

ANOTHER incident has occurred on the A23 northbound and the outer lane is closed at Pyecombe.

Police and fire vehicles are on the scene and a photograph shows that only one vehicle appears to be involved.

Police and firefighters have been contacted for comment.

This is the third incident to occur today, Sunday August 1, after police previously closed the A23 northbound this morning.

A pickup truck caught fire between Muddleswood and Hickstead and was followed by the West Sussex Fire and Rescue Team.

A car rolled off the road and collided with a hedge, the driver self-extinguished under the supervision of the Sussex East Coast Ambulance Service.
