Two men have been arrested as police continue to search for a missing 71-year-old man who was last seen in Barnet.
Metropolitan Police detectives are investigating the disappearance of Louise Kam, who has connections to northwest London and lives at Potters Bar.
She was last seen by a family member near the Spiers shopping center in Chipping Barnet around 12:30 p.m. on Monday July 26.
She drove a black BMW 3 Series convertible, registered LM11 ECJ, and reportedly drove from Borehamwood to Barnet before heading to the Willesden High Road area on the afternoon of July 26.
The BMW was recovered by police on Wednesday July 28 in north-west London, but officers are eager to hear from anyone who may have seen it earlier in the week.
Two men were arrested as part of the investigation, both still in custody. Urgent investigations are underway.
Chief Detective Inspector Brian Howie, a crime specialist, said: “Louise’s disappearance is totally irrelevant.
“Her family – especially her two sons – are extremely worried for her.
“The officers are also increasingly concerned for Louise’s safety.
“It is vital that anyone who knows anything contacts the police or Crimestoppers urgently.”
Louise is described as a Chinese woman, about 5 feet 4 inches tall and of slim build.
She has very long black hair and brown eyes. She usually dresses smartly and often wears a red handbag.
Specialist Crime detectives are calling anyone with information or who may have seen Louise to contact them.
