The sports coupe version, called 330Ci Club Sport, is in demand. Manual versions can do 0-62mph in 6.5 seconds and Estoril Blue looks like it. Prices start at around £ 4000.
The sedan and station wagon models received a makeover in 2001 (receiving revised lighting lenses and bumpers), and the coupe and convertible the following year.
E46’s are tough old things, but suffer from being owned by people who can’t afford to run them. Cheap brake parts and tires and missed service are common. Many have also drifted, even diesels.

“I love the E46 3 series. I’ve owned an M3, a Club Sport and tons of 318is and 320is. They all drive equally well, although of course some are much more powerful. They are generally reliable, but neglect and abuse means that there are a lot of thieves worthy of the heist only. On the other hand, it means that the best cars increase in value. If you have a nice E46, take care of it.
