A woman was rushed to hospital following a “serious” collision in Gateshead.
The multiple vehicle crash happened at the junction of Lamesley Road and Moor Mill Lane at around 5:20 p.m. on July 15.
Police said a black Mercedes, a silver Nissan Qashqai and a red Mazda were all involved.

Officers and emergency services attended the scene and a female driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
An investigation into the incident has been opened.
PC Darren Lant of the Northumbria Police Auto Patrol Department is now asking all witnesses to come forward.
He said: “This is a very serious collision which left a woman seriously injured.
“Our investigation into the circumstances of the collision is ongoing and we look forward to hearing from anyone with any information that could help us get a clear picture of the times leading up to this incident.
“If you were traveling on the road at the time, please contact us.
“We are particularly interested in motorists who are likely to have dash camera images.”
