Brittany Road Hove’s last body: arrested man released on bail Brighton News

A MAN arrested after a body was found in a doorway has been released on bail.

The 56-year-old was arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a man was found in the doorway of an address in Brittany Road, Hove, around 4:20 a.m. yesterday.

The two men knew each other and the death is considered unexplained.

An Interior Ministry autopsy to determine the cause of death is due to take place later today.

The arrested man has been released on bail pending further investigation and the investigation is continuing.

A Sussex Police spokesperson said: ‘Detectives are appealing to all witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

“Please contact Sussex Police online or 101 quoting serial number 0147 from 8/20/21.”

Forensic teams walked the driveway to the house as officers stood guard using police tape, which had been attached to the home’s garbage cans.

Investigators were then spotted dusting a Volvo D3 parked outside for fingerprints before covering the car with a protective sheet.

Officers conducted door-to-door investigations as detectives spoke to two people in a car parked nearby.
