Ambulance called in as a sick passenger on the Sheffield tram this evening UK News

The tram was traveling from Middlewood to Meadownhall when it stopped due to passenger concerns around 7:30 p.m. this evening.

This service was later canceled while the tram crew waited for the ambulance to arrive at the scene and take the passenger to hospital, after stopping the tram at Infirmary Road.

As a result of the previous cancellation, the 8:25 p.m. yellow route service from Meadowhall was also canceled.

Stagecoach Supertram said in a statement tonight: “The 19:32 yellow route from Middlewood is canceled due to ambulance crew waiting for an unhealthy passenger. Our apologies for any inconvenience.

They also said: “Due to a wrong passenger on a tram on Infirmary Road, services are subject to minor delays between Shalesmoor and Middlewood / Malin Bridge.”
