The ninth episode saw seven contestants compete to win Lord Alan Sugar and his assistants, Baroness Karren Brady and the first ever winner of The Apprentice Tim Campbell.
The contestants are hoping to win a Β£250,000 investment from Lord Sugar.
It’s easy to take for granted the fluid selling pattern we see on buying channels. In reality, it’s not that easy when you go live on TV – as you’ll see tonight @bbcapprentice. What happened in episode 9?
The contestants met Lord Sugar in Greenwich Market just after 5am.
Teams were asked to broadcast live on a leading shopping channel, selling a range of items before presenting and producing their own hour of sale.
Aaron made a point of running for the position of project manager, as did Brittany.
Ultimately, Brittany was voted to lead Team Infinity and said it was her “childhood dream” to sell on a shopping chain.
Never seen someone so passionate about teleshopping π#The apprentice

After promising Lord Sugar that he would step in last week, Akshay introduced himself as PM in Team Diverse.
Harpreet and Akeem chose an inflatable flamingo, a six-piece bedding set, and an owl solar light as their products.

For his team, Akshay chose a portable vaporizer, a massage product and a snail-shaped anti-wrinkle sleeping mask.

Both teams opted for a tanzanite ring as their main product, but only Infinity won the seller’s bid, meaning Diverse ended up with an air fryer as their featured product.
Although the product is not vegan, Kathryn said on-air that it was and corrected herself by saying it was just “friendly”.

Team Diverse didn’t sell enough product and ended up in the meeting room facing Lord Sugar.
Who was fired?
Akshay, Kathryn and Stephanie met again in the meeting room.
It was Akshay’s sixth time in the meeting room and Lord Sugar was unimpressed.
Lord Sugar said: “Akshay, there’s no smoke without fire, you’ve lost eight out of nine tasks. My gut tells me you’re not for me. You’re fired.”
In the taxi after being made redundant, Akshay said: “The first thing I’ll do when I get home is get back to my stuff, so many projects, so many ideas. It’s time to scale up .”
