A rap star proved Reading is Amazing when he visited Springfield Elementary School for World Book Day.
MC Grammar – otherwise known as Jacob Mitchell – visited Kempston School on March 3 to perform his new song.
All the students at the school, from kindergarten to grade 6, watched him perform, and the kids and staff all dressed up as rappers.
Students have been learning the lyrics to the new song – Reading is Amazing – since its release last Friday.
The primary school, part of the Chiltern Learning Trust, has worked closely with Jacob since January 2020. He has been visiting the school regularly to support rapid improvement in reading and English across the board. ‘school.
His close ties to the school are what encouraged his exclusive representation of World Book Day in Springfield.
MC Grammar told kids on his show that reading just one book can change your life. He went on to explain how a video of him rapping the famous children’s book “The Gruffalo” to his daughter went viral and launched his career.
