TWO men whom police wanted to identify in connection with the rape of a woman in a city center have come forward.
Police were notified of a woman in distress in the grounds of St John’s Church in Crawley on Saturday March 5.
She said she was raped and her belongings were stolen.
The attack happened between 3 a.m. and 4:15 a.m.
Since then, two men whom police wanted to identify to the inquest have come forward following a public appeal.
The victim was supported by officers present and police said they were continuing to receive specialist help as the investigation progressed.
Police would still like to speak to anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area at this time, or who may have other relevant information, CCTV or dash cam footage.
