Met Office South West forecast: Mild and showers Bath City News

The Met Office predicts mild temperatures with a few showers over the next few days.

A yellow weather warning for wind has been issued for several hours today (March 12) and strong winds could persist in parts of the southwest on Sunday (March 13) morning.

However, when the winds die down on Sunday there are likely to be sunny spells with showers, a forecast that will continue into next week.

The Met Office forecast for the South West reads: “There will be strong winds this evening and overnight, with gales to the west as a band of local heavy rain moves towards ballast.

“The rain will dissipate late in the night, but will be followed by heavy showers, sometimes heavy in places. Minimum temperature 7°C.

“It will be a windy Sunday morning before the winds subside later.

“There will be sunny spells and scattered showers throughout the day, with some showers becoming heavy and mixed with hail in the afternoon. High temperature 12C.

“There will be sunny spells and a few showers on Monday, then it will be dry with sunny spells on Tuesday.

“It will be disturbed again on Wednesday with episodes of rain which will only clear at the end of the day.”
