THESE incredible drone footage shows glorious blue skies over Brighton as the town basks in the spring sunshine.
After weeks of cold and unstable weather, many people were hoping for sunshine, lighter nights and milder days.
A moving high pressure system means the weather forecast for this weekend is bright with a chance of temperatures reaching the teens.
Photos taken above Hove seafront earlier today show people strolling along the promenade and the crystal clear waters.
Met Office meteorologist Alex Deakin said: ‘This high pressure looks likely to bring most of us a fine day on Friday and the high could continue to bring good weather well into the weekend.
“With high pressure across the UK, that means generally beautiful and sunny conditions.”
Here is the Met Office weather forecast for Brighton and Hove from Saturday March 19 to Tuesday March 22.
Saturday: A dry day with long periods of sunshine although windy with strong coastal winds. Feel warmer inland in the afternoon, but cooler in the east. Maximum temperature 15C.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday: rather cloudy Sunday and Monday and feeling cool. Chance of a few sporadic showers, mainly Sunday. Winds easing to mostly light. Beautiful Tuesday with a bit of sunshine.
