Oti Mabuse has clearly impressed ITV bosses on Dancing on Ice as she landed another show with the channel since leaving Strictly Come Dancing.
Oti, who has won Strictly back-to-back, announced she was leaving the BBC prom show earlier this year after seven years, having already been on the Dancing on Ice panel for a month before announcing the news . She first landed a role on an ITV show last summer when she was on the panel for The Masked Dancer.
Dancing on Ice fans have absolutely loved having Oti in the judging line-up for the current series and they’ll be seeing more of her, long after the final credits roll because on Saturday it was confirmed that she’ll be hosting aa brand new show of encounters.

During the latest episode of Starstruck, a trailer appeared on screen for Romeo & Duet, which will see bachelors stand on a Juliet-style balcony as they are serenaded by potential suitors, whom they can hear but not see. Each of the singers is given a single song in an attempt to tempt their Juliet to meet them.
A description of the show from ITV reads: “The seven-part primetime series, due to air on ITV and ITV Hub later this year, gives its singers just one song only to lure a singleton from the balcony, only then do the two come face to face for the first time.
“The newly formed pair will then duet to learn, you guessed it, a duet, before returning later in the show to perform that duet in the ultimate battle of romantic love; a singing contest against the others. couples to be crowned victors.”
Speaking about doing the show, Oti said, “I’m so excited to be a part of Romeo & Duet. It’s always been my dream to host, so it’s a real pinch moment for me, and that’s a blessing. for me to finally be able to share this news. Honestly, I can’t wait to get started!”
Teaser announcements for Romeo & Duet have confirmed that it will debut in April, but an exact start date has yet to be revealed.
