Britain’s Got Talent will return to our screens in April after almost two years for its 15th series.
Filming for the next series was supposed to start early last year, but production has been delayed to 2022.
The show’s production proved complicated as the talent program involves contestants traveling from all over the UK and sometimes even overseas.
Britain’s Got Talent back in April
Typically, viewers can watch the series from around April until July, when the semi-final and final are broadcast live.
The show confirmed its return alongside a trailer featuring presenters Ant and Dec, the judges and gave fans their first look at this season’s auditions.
The latest series of Britain’s Got Talent saw 2009 winners Diversity perform a routine inspired by Black Lives Matter.

The routine involved a man in a police uniform kneeling on Ashley Banjo, in protest at the killing of unarmed black man George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota in the United States.
The routine led to more than 24,000 complaints to Ofcom and won the public-voted must-watch moment at the 2021 TV Bafta Awards.
The final series also saw veteran judge Cowell replaced by Banjo on the judging panel for the final and semi-finals of the final series as he recovered from a back injury.
Britain’s Got Talent returns in April on ITV and STV.
