A Weston-super-Mare man sold Class A drugs in a city park Bath City News

A man has been jailed after admitting involvement in supplying heroin and crack cocaine to Weston-super-Mare. Aaron Francis, 28, of Blakeney Road, Patchway, was sentenced to four years and four months at Bristol Crown Court on Thursday March 31.

He was arrested on October 5, 2021 at an address in Weston-super-Mare. Officers attended the Windermere Avenue property following an investigation after reports of drug dealing at a nearby park.

They found Francis at the address and seized cash, drugs and cell phones. A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: ‘Drug crime has devastating consequences for our communities and dealers often target the most vulnerable within them.

“Avon and Somerset Police have a dedicated team working with communities, partner agencies and other police services regionally and nationally to bring perpetrators to justice.”
