A MAN was attacked and threatened in a busy park while with his family.
The victim was with members of his family near Homefield Park skatepark in Worthing at around 11.10am on Saturday March 26 when he was subjected to verbal threats from someone nearby.
The victim was then assaulted several times before he was able to flee, injuring his forearm.
Police are calling for witnesses to the assault, with the suspect described as being in his late teens, between 5ft 8in and 5ft 9in tall, with bleached blonde curly hair.
He wore a gray hoodie with the words “Space to Grow” on the front in white writing, gray sweatpants and gray or silver sneakers.
He had a small mustache and a tattoo on his neck.
The park was busy at the time of the incident, and officers investigating the assault are appealing to anyone who saw what happened to get in touch.
