Cost of living crisis: Social supermarket launched in South Yorkshire to help struggling families UK News

Representatives from the South Yorkshire Violence Reduction Unit attended the launch of a new social supermarket in Rotherham, run by the Clifton Learning Partnership

Graham Jones, Head of VRU, said: “Unfortunately many people are facing tough financial times right now, with the impact of the pandemic and the cost of living crisis having an effect.

“Projects such as this social supermarket in Clifton make an important contribution to supporting local families in these difficult times, and I am delighted that the VRU was able to attend the launch event and thank the staff for the work they do. accomplish.”

The opening hours of the supermarket are from 11 am to 2 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
