Bedfordshire detectives have seized six high-value cars and taken into custody a man suspected of drug trafficking and money laundering.
Dozens of Bedfordshire Police officers were involved in the early morning raid today (Monday) in Letchworth, neighboring Hertfordshire.
A man in his 50s has been arrested on suspicion of money laundering, importing a controlled drug and conspiring to supply Class A drugs.
Police also seized six high-value cars from the address, along with around £50,000 in cash, designer clothes and expensive watches.
Detective Sergeant Ryan Barnes, of Bedfordshire Police CID, said: ‘This morning’s operation is the result of months of painstaking and forensic investigative work.
“I would like to thank all of the officers involved for their patience and diligence in advancing the investigation at this stage.”
