Albion captain Lewis Dunk on ‘frustrated’ Spurs fans Brighton News

An ALBION star says the players could hear Tottenham Hotspur fans being frustrated with their 1-0 win.

Brighton and Hove Albion beat Spurs on Saturday thanks to a late goal from Leandro Trossard.

With more shots, shots on target and possession during the game, Albion captain Lewis Dunk suggested his side’s game plan was working “perfectly”.

“We executed the game plan perfectly. You could hear the frustrated fans and the frustrated team. That’s what we came here to do,” he said.

“Our game plan worked and this little man [Leandro Trossard] finished at the end. It was amazing.”

Antonio Conte’s side remain fourth in the Premier League table after the loss to the Seagulls, while Graham Potter’s side have moved to tenth place.

Brighton next face league leaders Manchester City on Wednesday April 20, ahead of games against Southampton, Wolves and Manchester United.

Albion has no new injury concerns ahead of their game against Man City.

Potter said: “Everyone was fine, I recovered this morning, the only ones out are suspended.

“Alzate has a chance to be involved in the team because he did light training this morning.”

Yves Bissouma will miss the match by suspension after receiving his tenth yellow card of the campaign.

Potter added: “We’ve played without him before and we’ve done well.

“We have players who can’t wait to play, it’s going to be exciting to find the right one to come into the team.”
