Call for information after armed robbery in Crawley Brighton News

AN INQUIRY has been launched after a man stole an off-license at knifepoint.

A man walked into McColl’s on Gossops Parade, Crawley at around 9.20pm on Easter Monday and demanded money from the tills while brandishing a knife.

In addition to the money, he also left with a quantity of cigarettes and alcohol.

No one was physically injured in the burglary.

The thief is white, with stubble and brown eyes. He wore a black bucket hat, gray tracksuit bottoms and a gray hooded top, embroidered with “Hoodrich” on the chest.

Anyone who has seen what happened or has other information is asked to contact the police online or via 101, quoting serial number 1328 of 18/04.
