Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, millions of people have sought to prioritize flexibility over where they live and work. Demand has increased for homes with gardens in more rural areas as Covid restrictions have undermined the benefits of living in big cities.
“Over the past two years, the world has undergone the greatest change in travel since the advent of commercial flight. Remote working has freed many people from the need to be in an office every day” , the statement said.
The company will also partner with governments to help them attract remote workers. So far, the company has already partnered with governments from Chicago to Tulsa, Malaga, the French Alps and Buenos Aires to help remote workers try to live there before relocating in the longer term.
