Many supermarkets are changing their regular opening hours to give staff a much-needed extra break.

The discount store will have its usual weekend opening hours but a slightly shorter day on Monday.

Teco:

If you’re shopping at Tesco you’re in luck as most stores will operate their usual weekend opening hours but change on Mondays.

• Monday, May 2: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Sainsbury’s

Sainsbury’s will keep its usual hours for the weekend but will have a shorter day for Monday
