A358 traffic: firefighters free a stuck motorist after a serious accident Bath City News

Emergency services had to free a motorist who was trapped inside a vehicle following an accident in Somerset this evening. The traffic collision between two vehicles on the A358 near Tatworth on Sunday evening.

Fire crews from Axminster and Ilminster attended the scene of the crash near Chard. Avon and Somerset later released a statement saying paramedics took the victim to a spine board.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue later released a statement saying: “Firefighters attended an incident following reports of a two-car road crash where a car ran off the road and landed in the hedgerow .

“Upon arrival, crews confirmed that a vehicle had a medically trapped person inside. Crews got to work stabilizing the vehicle and using small tools to create space. They then helped paramedics lift the victim onto a spine board.
