ALBION were treated to a 3-0 victory over Wolves, setting a club record for Premier League points.

Graham Potter’s side moved up to ninth place in the standings after the emphatic victory at Molineux on Saturday afternoon.

Alexis Mac Allister opened the scoring with a first-half penalty, having missed an earlier kick.

Second-half goals from Leandro Trossard and Yves Bissouma helped seal the win for Brighton and Hove Albion.

After the match, manager Graham Potter said that while the club had had any good days away from home this season, this one was “up there” with the best.

“You could see the performance in the second half was on another level compared to the first,” he said.

“The boys looked hungry to score, excited to go forward. It was important for us to keep a clean sheet because we didn’t want to let them back into the game and I think we’ve had enough handled the situation well.

“We defended when we had to and offered a threat on the way forward and it’s nice to score three goals.”

Albion moved within five points of Wolves following the win.

They next face Manchester United at the Amex on Saturday May 7, before traveling to Elland Road to take on Leeds United on Sunday May 15.
